WM EarthCare’s Homegrown Compost has been consistent, well cured, and a great addition to our vineyards.
Homegrown Compost has helped enhance the soils, improve water-holding ability and resistance to compaction at our roadside project. In addition, the compost from WM EarthCare has helped reduce the risk for surface run off.
WM EarthCare Homegrown Compost is black gold. It naturally, slowly and generously shares vitamins, minerals, proteins and moisture with the roots of flowers, lawns and trees. I use it in my garden and love it! I commend WM EarthCare for closing the loop on organic waste, keeping it out of landfills, and returning it as compost to nourish the soil. Trust me. Brown is the new Green!
We are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint, incorporate recycled products, and create an earth-friendly campus. WM EarthCare™ continues to work with us, not only providing solutions to present challenges, but developing realistic ideas and suggestions that will address our future needs as we move toward a green campus.
Students are empowered knowing their vegetables are growing in soil enriched with compost made from their own food scraps. By using compost in school gardens, students are keeping food scraps out of the landfill, learning about sustainable food production and closing the loop on waste in Alameda County.
The Northern Alameda County Group of the Sierra Club has been planting trees in Oakland for the last year. Waste Management of Alameda County has donated a first class compost product that we have used to enrich the soil in which our street trees are planted. We are very grateful for this gift and we look forward to continuing this happy relationship.
