Homegrown Compost

WM EarthCare™ Homegrown Compost is a recipient of the US Composting Council's Seal of Testing Assurance (STA) and the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) listing for use in organic farming, the industry standards for quality. It is made from yard trimmings and food scraps at our windrow composting facility in Marin County and is processed to be stable and mature.

Compost releases nutrients slowly, contributes to soil structure, and helps with water retention and drainage. Compost may be applied year-round and is especially beneficial in the fall and spring. The recommended application is 2"- 3" in depth.

"WM EarthCare Homegrown Compost is black gold. It naturally, slowly and generously shares vitamins, minerals, proteins and moisture with the roots of flowers, lawns and trees. I use it in my garden and love it! I commend WM EarthCare for closing the loop on organic waste, keeping it out of landfills, and returning it as compost to nourish the soil. Trust me. Brown is the new Green!"
