Community Giving
WM EarthCare™ is pleased to support community organizations that share our mission to close the loop on organic materials and nurture local environments. Each year we donate compost and mulch to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations in our service areas—Alameda, Marin, Monterey and Santa Clara counties.
Recent recipients include: Alameda County Office of Education Project EAT, Dig Deep Farms, Acta Non Verba, Marin Oaks High School, Twin Cities American Legion Post 313, Oakland Unified School District and many more.
To qualify, an organization must be non-sectarian and a registered 501(c)(3) with a mission to nurture the local environment through gardening. Priority organizations are:
- School Garden Programs
- Community Garden Programs
- Urban Beautification Programs
In addition, your organization must be able to transport the donated materials from your local WM EarthCare™ Landscape Center.
